Colors of Fall for Creative Every Day



It rained last night, it was one of those thunderstorms where you can feel it coming in. The wind comes in from the west, bringing the low dark clouds, tossing toys around the yard. There's an electricity in the air that I love. This morning, everything was damp and vibrant. I love how fall colors come to life under a grey sky. It seems like the sun washes out some of the best variations of brown on brown. A few of my favorite photos from my walk around the block with my daughter are above.

Below, I took some photos of an experiment I did with pastels, paper and beeswax. I drew four small images with pastels on stiff strathmore paper and then poured beeswax over them. It was a fun experiment, though I'm not sure if I like them or not.
