I'm continuing to be inspired by artists around me to create white on dark images. This time it's rocks. I got out my white conte crayon, sharpened it on a random piece of sandpaper in my ArtDeskOfDoom and went to work on my rock collection (Doesn't everyone have one?). Mine turned into little animals (big surprise right?) An alligator, a dragonfly, a hedgehog, a beetle, and an odd little face. I am feeling the need to leave them around town for people to find. I'll let you know if I actually do it.
I adore making these little things. I feel so calm and happy.
These are just so sweet! I do have a rock collection and just may have to draw on some of it! I think people would love to find one of these lying around!
ReplyDeleteI, too, have a rock collection, and love this idea:) I've never used a conte crayon. Does it stay on well?
