My daughter kindly held our heirloom tomato bounty so that I could photograph it today. Aren't they beautiful? We've got Green Zebra, Brandywine, Yellow Peach and Early Girl and Roma tomatoes this year. Over at ChildWild Sierra does what she calls The Gratitude Project from the first Harvest Festival until the equinox. Every day she notes what she's grateful for.
I'm grateful for:
heirloom tomatoes
my camera
music
and
my youngest daughter successfully using the potty!
(I know, TMI, sorry.)
I LOVE the painting!!! You are so inspirational and I miss you.
ReplyDeleteGreat painting and tomatoes! I have some brandywines but they haven't produced fruit yet...
ReplyDeleteOMG! I LOVE that new painting!!! It's gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like this painting..thanks for the nice comment on my blog! lucky you to live where you can grow those lovely tomatoes--I'm in Alaska for the summer and our summer has been rainy and cold--so the gardens isn't doing much...
ReplyDeleteoh wow! that painting is AMAZING!!! I admit I'm envious of your ability to make things look like they *actually look* - trees in this case. such beautiful trees! I also really like the honeycomb :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, how beautiful! The fruit and especially the painting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog, Artelicious, and commenting on my Tropical Sundance quilt. But don't say you're "not talented." I love your blog site, and your painting is marvy! But most of all, I'm way jealous of your heirloom tomato harvest. It's been unusual here in So. Cal. this summer, okay, freezing! So no tomatoes quite yet. Want to swap seeds later? I'm growing some unusual heirloom varieties, too.
