Poetry and Sketching: The Ties that Bind


Sewing and knitting
Bind together
Pull the thread through the layers of life
The ties that bind me
bind you
Knotted up
Thread of sinew,
muscle,
bone
blood ties hold me up
never alone.

So, a needle pulling thread

    I love the way that you are able to combine the written word and the lovely visual in such a powerful way. I love the symbolism of that which binds us to this life.
